Shall We Dance? Take
time out from your wedding planning to concentrate One, two, three and one, two, three... If you are still counting out dance steps and feel unsure on the dance floor, you may want to schedule a few lessons before your wedding. Your first dance together as husband and wife should be beautiful. Joe LoCurto of Joe LoCurto's Ballroom Specialists describes this magical moment: "Poised in each other's arms, the newlyweds glide away and swirl, etching each of their movements in the memory of time. Some watch; some join the
celebration. Surrounded by music and immersed in love, the moment becomes magic,
time stands still, and the couple, the guests and eternity all become one."You do not have to Tango, but you may find your guests clamoring for more popular contemporary dances from the Macarena to the Chicken Dance. If a number of your bridal party members or close friends live nearby, consider dance lessons as a group activity. Do not wait until the last minute, give yourselves the treat of at least five lessons about three months before the wedding. You will enjoy the learning process and then dazzle everyone with your ability to dance the night away at your own wedding. Be sure to let your wedding reception musicians know what you
are expecting
in dance music; so they will come prepared.
Afterwards you will glide with grace and ease onto the dance floor for
your very first dance.
Call Joe or his staff at 404-556-7433 for more information. Or e-mail Joe for private dance lessons. |
